From the bottom of my heart I want to thank you for the support received on Saturday night for my 29th annual Signature Ball.
The generosity of the guests was outstanding and we have once again raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for medical research.
All proceeds will be finalised in the coming days and funds raised will directly benefit St Vincent’s Institute of Medical Research, Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research and Baker IDI Heart & Diabetes Institute.
When this event began in the 1980s none of us could have dreamed of the advances made by medical research in the treatment of chronic diseases. I am so proud of the role all of you have played in contributing to a better future for our great country Australia.
Thank you once again for your support.
Yours sincerely, Susan Alberti AO
“Congratulations on once again an amazing weekend.”
“I had an absolutely wonderful night. Susan was an outstanding host. Not only did she welcome each guest on arrival. I say her throughout the night going up and speaking to each guest personally, myself included. I felt valued as a guest and I can see why so many people have been coming for over 20year to support this event. It was a complete pleasure of an evening that I cannot fault. Well done to all involved.”
“The hard work and dedication of all whom contributed to the organising of the SAMRF Ball is truly inspirational.”
“The event was spectacular!! Certainly the best of events due to the venue, the guests, the food and the best entertainment throughout the night. Prizes were fun too. Loved it all. And huge congrats to the team of loyal volunteers and staff. And most of all to Susan. Wonderful evening.”
“Having never attended the ball before I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but had a fantastic night. The food was delicious, everyone I chatted to was super lovely and it was great to be raising money for such good causes. Thanks Sue and Elda!”
“Fabulous night and spectacular display of colour and style. The red wine, champagne and chocolate desert well and truly exceeded expectations. They were beyond excellent. Samantha Jade and Mark Vincent were amazing performers and Mark Vincent was truly inspiring and uplifting. This could have been considered a private concert the music and sound and choreography was so good. The room looked fabulous and the attention to detail and hard work that had gone into the overall look and feel was excellent. Well done to SAMRF.”
“I would like to commend the organising committee for a beautifully and professionally executed event. I have worked in events for many years, and this is by far on of the most impressively organised events I have attended as a guest. Congratulations to all involved.”
