Susan Alberti would like to thank her family, friends and supporters both here and around the world for their overwhelming support following her decision to step down from JDRF at the Annual General Meeting in November 2013.
“I am truly humbled by the number of people who have contacted me and my office over the last week to express their support and thanks,” she said.
“It was a difficult decision for me to make given my long association with JDRF, but I remain as determined as ever to contribute my time and resources to the cause of type 1 diabetes and other urgent medical research priorities.”
