On August 10, Sue Alberti was delighted to present the Susan Alberti Cup to Darebin Falcons who were crowned 2013 Victorian Women’s Football League champions. Ably led by captain, Daisy Pearce, the Falcons ran away with the game in the final quarter to defeat Diamond Creek by 49 points. Sue Alberti has supported women’s football for almost a decade and considered herself a decent rover when she played as part of the Footscray cheer squad team growing up.
