On July 29, Susan Alberti, agreed to make a significant contribution to the Charles Perkins Centre at the University of Sydney by supporting a PhD scholarship. The Centre focuses on obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Sue said her contribution would help to contribute to a major new study aimed at closely studying preconception, pregnancy and early childhood. “This is the first Australian study of its kind,” she said.
