On March 28 Susan Alberti was special guest of honour for Gilmore College of Girls 90th birthday celebrations. The school, which began life in 1925 as Footscray Domestic Arts School, is a shining example of educational excellence in Melbourne’s west. “As someone who takes a special interest in the health, education and well being of communities in the west of Melbourne I was delighted to be a part of this commemoration,” Sue said.
