On March 12 Susan Alberti attended the 100th birthday celebrations of the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute (WEHI). WEHI is Australia’s oldest medical research institute and currently has more than 60 clinical trials underway into a range of diseases including type 1 diabetes, coeliac disease and malaria. “I am delighted to be involved with this wonderful institute,” Sue said. “The passion of the scientists and researchers at WEHI is contagious, which is why funds from my annual Signature Ball support their important work.”
