On April 17 Susan Alberti agreed to provide further support to promising Australian athlete Melissa Breen. Breen is Australia’s fastest 100m sprinter but has struggled to gain even a moderate level of funding
from Athletics Australia or other sponsors, leading to Alberti offering her support for a second time. “I am determined to see Melissa reach her goals at the Commonwealth Games and beyond,” she said. “I believe in providing support to people who deserve it and Melissa Breen should be given every opportunity to reach her full potential.”
